  1. You are absolutely entitled to your own opinion based just on personal preferences, but I also think you bring up some legitimate points. That said, digital is definitely the future (even the present!). The good news is that the cost of devices and internet access both are going down making it more affordable for both individuals and school districts.

    Re: digital textbooks - that is a state law in FL and likely other states - as of 2016 (I think, but don't quote me!), all textbooks need to be digital. In my school, the digital textbook is available to all students, but there's also a class set of hard copies for students to use or check-out if needed. I agree that they are a different reading experience and likely if you learned how to read/study in only (or predominantly) the digital version, you may find it very acceptable.
